Is this Victorian stamp of any value?

My father has this stamp in his boyhood collection, he thinks that it may be of some value. Perhaps someone can tell me.

worth quite alot NEW

Just to correct my previous comment, I've
Found that it is only the white paper that is worth
more with the overprint, Also there is a different shade of blue
called cobalt blue, which is worth more again, yours looks
the normal colour.
Cheers....

Thanks for the info, looks like I need to take this stamp to an expert who can examine it properly to give us an estimate of its value, but from what you say looks as though dad may be right.

Hi
Difficult to say exactly from the scan, but here
goes!
The stamp is a gb Victorian from around
1885 face value 10 shillings, a lot of money then.
The stamp is overprinted with inland revenue
which makes it worth even more, but this overstamp
Could be faked.
Next problem, is the overall paper tinted blue, has the
stamp been used, can't make it out from scan.
With that in mind, here are the latest sg cat prices.
Blued paper and mint. £23000. The noughts are right!!
As above used. £7000
On white paper mint. £11000
As above used. £3500
Don't get to excited!
These values are condition dependant, again
not easy to see from scan, I would say about
10% of these prices.
Good luck
